What should I bring with me?
For a fun day on the water at camp, everyone MUST bring a few things with them:
A PFD (personal floation device) or lifejacket that fits (we have a very limited quantity to lend out);
A FULL refillable water bottle (2 if you have a spare);
A packed nut free lunch (please NO NUTS!);
Water resistant sun screen;
A sun hat (inexpensive sunglasses are optional);
Shoes that can get wet - no flip flops, old running shoes are inexpensive and work great, Crocs are ok, wetsuit shoes are good, Keens are good;
A swimsuit or swim shorts;
A sun shirt - long or short sleeve cotton t-shirt;
A rain jacket because we do get colder days in the summer;
A towel and a change of clothes;
Some extra clothing that is warm e.g. a sweater / hoodie and sweat / yoga pants.
Where are you located?
The camp can be reached by car, bike or bus. Please see the map below.
If coming by TTC to Cherry Beach you can take the 121C which runs from Union Station to Cherry Beach. Then, please allow a 15 minute walk along the bike path to our location on Regatta Road. Click here to check with TTC for the latest route information.
What time can I drop off and pick up?
We are a day camp. Our regular hours are 9am to 4pm. If you drop off for sailing or all sorts of sports programs at 14 Regatta Road, there is no extra charge for early drop off at 8:30am or late pick-up until 4:30pm.
Do you offer financial support to help young people attend your camp?
If you need financial support we recommend investigating The Canadian Tire Jumpstart Program. The program helps kids, ranging in age from 7 to 17, from families who need financial assistance to participate in sports and physical activities. If you would like to apply, so that your child(ren) can participate in our program, get in touch with your local chapter by calling the national Jumpstart line at 1-877-616-6600 or going to the Jumpstart website (click here), for information on how to apply.
